Our vision is the hope of rejoicing with angels, by participating in God's work to redeem and restore the lost, wounded, broken, anyone in need and people from all walks of life with the Compassion and Living Word of Christ: by love, forgiveness, grace, gentleness, humility, sympathy, empathy, patience, kindness, and edification into God’s blended family.  To Cultivate unto Christlikeness and equip people in their God given gifts and purpose.  Our commitment to Bible-centered teaching and living is how we connect, bless and better YOU.  People are our mission!  (Luke 10:30-37; I Peter 3:8-9; Colossians 3:12-13).

LOVING GOD AND LOVING PEOPLE: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind….Love your neighbor as yourself.  All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matthew 22:37-40

MAKING DISCIPLES: “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”  Matthew 28:19-20

PRAYING FOR WORKERS TO DO GOD'S WORK: “When he saw the crowds, He had compassion on them, because they were helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.  Then He said to His disciples, ‘The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.  Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field.’” Matthew 9:36-38

SEEKING THE LOST: “The Son of Man came to seek and to save the Lost.” Luke 19:10

SERVING: “He who desires to be great among you let him be your servant, even as the Son of man did not come to be served, but to serve and give His life as a ransom for many.”  Matthew 20:26

ISABEL RAMIREZ-KISER

Isabel was born and raised in Colombia, a beautiful country located in South America. As a child, she and her mom moved around a lot. A routine part of life involved constant change and adapting to new environments and situations. Her Mom Carmen was her role model and inspiration of how a Christ centered woman should live her life. After completing High School, Isabel attended Universidad Nacional de Colombia where she studied Philology and Languages. Upon completing her degree, she was presented with the opportunity to move and work in the United States of America as a Spanish teacher for Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools in 2009.

Isabel loves sharing her culture and heritage with her students. She took students on international trips on three different occasions where students were immersed in Latin American culture and enjoyed learning about different cultures. After working 5 years as a Spanish teacher, Isabel left the classroom to take a position as a Family Advocate where she served as a liaison between families and the school. She led informational meetings, translated school documents/letters/newsletters from English to Spanish and helped parents to become more involved in their child’s school by developing relationships that benefited them and the school.

Later, Isabel decided to get certified as an EL teacher and went back to the classroom where she worked with elementary and high school students for 8 years. As an EL teacher, Isabel supported her students in their social-emotional learning needs, as well as their academics. The majority of her students were immigrant children with little knowledge of English. She guided and mentored her students in adjusting to American culture and supported their families by hosting Parent Nights, in which she shared information and useful resources that parents would need in order to help their children be successful in school.

Isabel is a gifted singer and worshipper.  She also has the skill of interpreting.  Her faith has played an important role in her life and career. Isabel firmly believes that as a Jesus follower, her life should reflect and pursue the qualities that Jesus taught to His disciples.  She is honored to be part of Urban Promise, a Nonprofit Christian organization in Charlotte NC, since her values align with the mission of this organization. Her goal is to help develop children’s character to be Christians who help their communities.  Isabel enjoys spending time with her husband Jeremy, friends, family and playing volleyball.
